Experience is regarding service only. On Tuesday this week I found a large screw in the passenger side front tire of my vehicle. I contacted the salesman who sold the vehicle to me, he responded very quickly and guided me through the process (warranty on tires/rims). The salesman was waiting for the vehicle to arrive at the service department and introduced me to a service representative, she was knowledgeable, persistent with the warranty representative via landline and pleasant. She explained in to me the tire needed to be replaced not repaired because of the location of the screw and type of tire the vehicle requires. She explained the process and difficulty this particular tire mounting may present. I was informed she did not have the tire in stock but she will send someone to pick it up and the vehicle will be ready before the service department closes at 5PM. I made arrangements with her and the salesman to pick up my vehicle after the service department closed. She told me exactly where my vehicle was going to be and the keys were going to be with the salesman. At 5:32PM I received a call from the salesman stating the vehicle was ready. When I arrived the vehicle was exactly where she stated it would be and the salesman did have the keys. Now the experience goes south. Upon inspection I notice immediately the number of natural colored weights placed to achieve balance, the amount of lube required to mount the tire because it was just left on the rim and the valve stem cap lost and replaced with a stock black one. Until this, I was under the impression Hawk service took pride in dealing with and was capable of handling vehicles of this caliber. This experience has proven otherwise, I see no pride in this work due to the above statements. I do expect Hawk to rebalance the tire using the proper weights and installation of weights to match factory standards not the corner tire shop standards also the valve stem cap.

I called the next day to talk with a manager and I left voice mail. Not one person called me back!!I I also e-mailed the sales person, Chad Smeets,, who sold me the car and he never responded back to my e-mail either. I believe that is very poor business manners. I know they did not want to talk to me because I had seconds thoughts on my purchase and they did not want to deal with that. But to never even get a return phone call or e-mail back is not the right way to handle it. I am very disappointed in Hawk Chevy, Joliet.

Very happy with it especially that you had diesel mechanics available to do the work. The dealership where are usually have it done for some reason during this COVID-19 has laid off their diesel mechanics and cut their staff in half and then only trying to get the truck serviced it���s been almost impossible with him so being that I do a lot of business in the Joliet area and then just recently required Commercial property nearby your dealership I decided to give you guys a try and I am very pleased with your service thank you

Your service manager, Sean, is excellent at his job, a real people person. When I called him, I couldn't get into my car. He gave me the instructions on how to access using the secret key in the fob, which my sales rep, Julian Perez, forgot to tell/show me. He gave me the 800# to call for a jump (didn't work) and then had me call for a tow. I valued his instructions, they really calmed me down. Your entire service team is top notch. They kept me updated on when my car would be fixed (needed a new battery). Also had the rear window wiper motor replaced and filled the tires (not done with the tire rotation in June). Just the greatest!!!! (Especially Sean, he should get an award).
